We at Northwoods Nursery respect and appreciate the efforts of plant breeders and researchers to find or create new and improved varieties of fruits. These varieties often offer unique flavors, larger size, increased disease resistance and other benefits. We are pleased to offer these plants and to compensate breeders and researchers who have created or found them for us. This compensation is in the form of royalty payments and you will find the royalty amounts listed with these varieties and also on the order form.

We can ship plant orders to all destinations in the US, Canada and worldwide. Whether by truck, air or parcel delivery service, we will find the most economical and fastest way to get you your order. When you place your order, please let us know the shipping method you prefer and the approximate date you would like to receive your order.

For US and Canadian orders, the most cost effective shipping method is by temperature controlled truck. This method avoids problems with freezing or excessive heat en route. We can usually ship as little as one pallet of bareroot or container plants to points throughout the US and Canada. We can also ship plants by air freight and FedEx Ground. To reduce the weight of such shipments, we can de-pot containerized plants for a small charge. Please contact us for shipping details and estimated costs.

Shipping charges include the actual cost of shipping, packaging materials and the labor required to pack the plants.

We ship plants to many countries and will prepare your order to meet the importing requirements of your country. We will work with you to find the most efficient and cost effective method of shipment for your order. First time orders to international customers will be on a pre-paid basis.
